A downloadable game for Windows and macOS

Full version is now free on Itch and Steam!

Wormatozoa is a gross 2D point-and-click precision platformer about parasitic worms! Control worms with your mouse through dangerous environments as they evolve from tiny parasites to city-engulfing monsters.

Inspired by Snake (the classical arcade game) and Super Meat Boy, expect to die a lot on the journey.

This game is still in development, but the first two chapters (containing a total of 75 levels) are available for download as a free demo.

Note about Linux - The game is unavailable for Linux natively, but Linux users should be able to run the Windows version through emulators like Wine.

hey i played your game and it was fun. I didn't finish all the levels. It would really help if you could check out my youtube channel and possible subscribe! Thank you!

Thanks for playing it! It’s always satisfying seeing people react when they work out the core mechanics for the first time.

It was actually really useful to see what parts were unclear or too easy, so I’ll be making a few changes based on your video.

Yeah it was really fun and also intresting😂😂 the levels actually took alot longer then the video shows😂😂 it would also hell if you added music to it because there wasn't any. It would really help ifnyou subscribe!

Hi, I've made a video about the game and I wanted to share some feedback about it :D, hopefully it is useful for the development :)

-The main concept of the game and the gameplay mechanics chosen are quite good, giving a very callenging and solid experience to the player.

-The visual style is very good and gives the game som personality.

-The dificulty of the game, despite of having some spikes, is quite well balanced as it doesn't end up feeling unfair losing.

-Good level design, I'll suggest keeping the dificulty of the first levels lower than in some of them to fix the small issue that I've mentioned before.

-I really like the kind of info/results/par that appears at the end of the levels, it gives the player an optional challenge after beating the level.

In conclusion, the idea is great and I hope you keep working on it. Hopefully this is useful for the development :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)

Regards

Thanks for the feedback! It’s good to hear it plays as I intended (punishing but not unfair).

I’ve reordered some of the levels to improve the difficulty curve and slowed down that one patrolling virus you seemed to have trouble with.

You nailed it :D you are welcome :)

I’ve had a few issues reported about it running poorly on Linux. I’ll try and find out what’s going on but I’m currently unable to test regularly on a Linux machine.

Great and challenging game dev
